Chad got off work at the last minute on Friday. That means we were able to start our vacation EARLY!!! We sent Eli to preschool that morning, packed the car and left town around noon. Much better than leaving at 7pm (our usual time to leave when Chad works).
A combination of waking up at 6am (his usual wake time is 7am) and nap time made for one tired and cranky Eli. He was NOT in the picture mood, as you can see below!
He looks happier in this picture but don't be fooled. He was kicking my seat and mad because I was taking pictures. You would think he would be used to pictures by now.
The dogs are going on vacation too!
They are being kenneled together in Forrest City. We told Eli they were going to a doggy hotel!
Thanks goodness for the snack bag I made for the car. It was full of all sorts of fun snacks Eli doesn't eat too often. This is what he chose for his first snack.
Snacks + nap = a happy Eli
We were going slower through some construction and rolled down the windows for Eli.
He loves riding with the windows down!
