I had been wanting to go somewhere and stay overnight for a while. Eli heard us talking about it once and then that's all he would talk about! We just needed a getaway, preferably one where Eli could go swimming.
We had a free weekend last weekend. At the last minute we decided to go stay for the night in Branson. I think I was as excited as Eli! We did some shopping, ate lots of yummy food, went swimming and took Eli on his first Build-A-Bear experience. It was a perfect getaway!
Eli got a kick out of the shower cap!
We ate some yummy steaks at Texas Land & Cattle. Eli was fun as always :)
Eli's first Build-A-Bear experience. I don't think he quite understood what was going on but he loved his bear after it was done. He named him Chubby. While carrying him back to the hotel Eli turned to us and said, "I'm not gonna let anyone get Chubby. I'm gonna protect him". He was very proud!
The water was heated but still too cold for me! Eli didn't seem to mind it though!

These rides are always a hit at the outlet mall!
It was a short getaway but a much needed one!
