My Little Cowboy

The kindergarteners put on a cowboy program at school one day.  Eli was so proud of his cowboy costume.

Eli gets so nervous when he's on stage performing.  I think it is so cute!

His part was around the campfire singing a song with the boys.

The teachers and some of the moms made these adorable horses out of pool noodles.  All of the kids entered the auditorium riding their horse.  Eli still plays with his horse at home!

I may be biased but I think Eli made the cutest cowboy I've ever seen!

Pumpkin Patch

Since Eli was sick and we couldn't go to Silver Dollar City, we decided to take him to the pumpkin patch.  I love looking back at previous year's pictures and seeing how much Eli has grown.  His face has definitely matured over the past couple of years.

Two years ago Eli wasn't even as tall at the pumpkin!  And look at him now!

McGarrah's Farm is my favorite pumpkin patch in this area.  Eli always likes it too because he gets to cut his own pumpkins off the vine.  They have great areas for photos too!

This wooden tractor and train was new.  Eli loved playing on it!

Fall Fun

October was much more exciting in our house!  We went to the Apple Festival and took one of Eli's best friends, Alexi.  They've been friends since Eli was 6 months old.  If you ask Eli who his girlfriend is, he will say Alexi!  HA!!

Eli's class went on their very first field trip.  Of course I couldn't miss it!

Eli loved feeding the goats!

This picture makes me itch just looking at it!

Eli had been begging to bake Halloween cookies.  I finally gave in and decided to do it.  In the middle of everything I realized Eli had fever.  The timing couldn't have been worse.  As a reward for good behavior, we were going to Silver Dollar City the next day.  Fever meant that trip was cancelled.  I felt so bad for Eli!  October and November were jam packed for us and that was the only chance we were going to have to go to SDC.

In keeping with tradition, Eli and I painted pumpkins one afternoon after school.

More birthday party fun with friends!

We also made it to a Razorback football game one Saturday.  It was so hot but we had a great time!

Eli asked me for paper one day.  He's been practicing writing and reading.  He wrote this sentence all by himself!  I couldn't have been more proud!  He's also reading on his own.  It is like it just clicked one day and he's taking off now!  I love seeing him learn new things and he gets so proud of himself.

More October fun to come...

September Happenings

September seems like a blur.  I can't really tell you what all we did.  I looked through our pictures and still couldn't really tell you anything we did other than T-Ball.  But I just told you about fall T-Ball in the last post!

Eli has started climbing the doorways.  One of his favorite shows in American Ninja Warrior.  He likes to "practice ninja warrior" as he calls it!  I foresee ER visits and broken bones in our near future.

Chad went to Eli's school for Doughnuts with Dad one morning.  I think Eli was pretty proud to show off his daddy :)

Eli finally got up the nerve to try out the rock wall.  I've figured out he's afraid of heights!  He wanted to come down just after this picture was taken.

We attended a birthday party for a friend at Chuck E Cheese.  I remember thinking Chuck E Cheese was the greatest place on Earth when I was a kid!

My mom came up for Grandparent's day at Eli's school.  We had a great weekend of shopping and eating while she visited.

Eli's school had a fundraiser of selling cookie dough.  Eli got this prize for selling cookie dough.  What is it you ask?  A 10 foot plastic bag that was supposed to a balloon.

And that's all I could come up with for September.  Pretty sad isn't it?

Fall T-Ball

Another season of T-Ball is under our belts.

Somehow Eli and his best friend, Tyler,  got on the same team!  They had a great time playing together.

All the players were awarded trophies at the end of the season pizza party
