End of Summer

I realized the end of July there was so much we hadn't done throughout the summer that I had wanted to do with Eli.  I quickly made a mental note of a few things I wanted to do before school started.  Next summer we are writing down a bucket list and starting early!

While we spent a lot of days with our friends, Kristin and Tyler, this day was just the four of us.  We let the boys pick out where we went for lunch and what we did.  We all had a great time!

Eli asked one day if we could go to the "cupcake place" (Bliss Cupcakes).  It's one of our favorite places to get yummy cupcakes.

We decided at the spur of the moment one day to head out to Fast Lane.  We invited Eli's friend, Alexi and her mom to join us.  The kids (and adults) had a great time!  We rode go karts, bowled, and played games!

The Springdale airport has a restaurant right on the runway called Flaps Down Grill.  We love to go and sit outside and eat while watching the planes take off and land.  The food is really good too!

Chad took Eli to the Lowe's Build and Grow sessions a couple of times.  They met up with Chad's friend, Doug, and his 4 boys.  I imagine it was a fun and wild experience with all of these boys!

Eli and Tyler helped pick vegetables from Tyler's grandparent's garden.  Eli wants a garden like this so badly!  Maybe one day we will have room for it.

We spent lots of days outside while Eli played.  He's such a little daredevil on that bike!

The weekend before school started we took Eli to Locomotion.  He had been begging to go play putt-putt golf.

We finished that same weekend with dinner at Carrabba's... Eli's favorite restaurant ever!  He loves their cavatappi side dish that he calls "spicy pasta".

All of these fun things happened in just the first couple of weeks of August!
See why I'm writing down these bucket list items and starting at the beginning of summer next year!  Whew!
