I'm way behind in blogging. What else is new? Oh well...
I signed Eli up for swimming lessons for the first time this year. He was starting to swim by the end of the summer last year but he still had a long way to go. He wasn't into the swimming lessons and we even started to wonder why we were making him go. It seemed useless.
We weren't sure he was going to pass his level 1 because he was afraid to float on his back without help from the instructor. But something clicked the last two days and he was determined to float alone! The last day was a free swim day. They were allowed to jump off the diving board with their instructor in the water. Eli loved the diving board!
And he even started swimming again like he was last summer! We couldn't have been more proud of him for overcoming his fears!
They ended the two weeks of lessons with popsicles.
